Ideal setup for Viceroys, Admirals, and Purples.  Place potted willow between female Limenitis and light source.  Females will walk on willows and lay eggs on the tips of the leaves.  An ideal potted willow is Dwarf Blue Arctic Willow (Salix purpurea nana) as shown in this photograph.

Here is a potted grass setup designed for satyrs and skippers.  A cylindrical screen is paper-clipped over potted grass.

Here is another species of potted grass covered with a nylon-net sleeve.  This setup works great for hesperine skippers and satyrs.

Potted Plant with Paint Strainer

An alternative to sewing a nylon net sleeve is to simply purchase a 1 or 5 gallon paint strainer and placing over your potted plant.
